The construction of the high‑speed passenger vessel “Politruk Klochkov” has been completed.

The construction of the 22nd high‑speed passenger hydrofoil vessel (SPH) 
of the “Valdai 45R” project has been completed. This was reported on May 20 by 
the Russian Classification Society (RCS). The vessel was built under the technical 
supervision of the Upper Volga branch of the RCS at the production complex 
of JSC “Central Design Bureau for Hydrofoil Craft named after R. E. Alekseev” 
in the city of Chkalovsk, Nizhny Novgorod Region.

It should be noted that the launch of the 22nd SPK of the Valdai 45R project took place on April 29, 2026. The new SPK was named after 
a hero of the Great Patriotic War – “Politruk Klochkov”. This is the fourth Valdai 45R that will add to the river fleet of the Saratov region. 
In total, five such motor ships will be built for the region.

It should be recalled that earlier, shipbuilders from Nizhny Novgorod built the vessels Yuri Gagarin, Pyotr Stolypin and General Panfilov for the Saratov region.
